About LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship (10 to PG)

The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme is funded by the LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation, a CSR initiative of Life Insurance Corporation of India. The scheme operates through LIC's 112 Divisional Offices spread across India, ensuring that students from every region of the country — from Jammu & Kashmir to Tamil Nadu, from Gujarat to Assam — have an equal chance of benefiting.

For 2026, the scheme has two scholarship categories:

  1. General Scholarship – After Class 12th/Diploma
  2. Special Scholarship – After Class 10th
📅 Application Last Date: 30 September 2026

Online Registration Open for the Student and Last Date to Apply is September 30, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria & Selection Process

General Scholarship Eligibility – After Class 12th/Diploma

  1. Have passed Class 12th or an equivalent examination with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
  2. Have passed the qualifying examination during the academic year 2023-24, 2024-25 or 2025-26.
  3. Have taken admission in the first year of a qualifying course during the academic year 2026-27.
  4. Have parents/guardians whose total annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 4,50,000.

Special Scholarship Eligibility – After Class 10th

  1. Have passed Class 10th or equivalent with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
  2. Have passed Class 10th during 2023-24, 2024-25 or 2025-26.
  3. Have taken admission in the academic year 2026-27 in the first year of Intermediate/10+2, vocational or diploma courses.
  4. Have parents/guardians with an annual income of not more than Rs. 4,50,000

Selection Process

Selection is purely merit-based on Class 12th or 10th marks. Ties are broken first by lower parental income, then by a financial assessment by LIC officials if needed.

A few key rules to note: students already receiving a private trust or institution scholarship are not eligible (government scholarships are fine). Only one student per family can hold this scholarship — except when both applicants are female, or the second applicant is a girl.
