Amount & Benefits

SC and Neo-Buddhist students get Rs. 380 to Rs. 1,200 per month if they live in a hostel and Rs. 230 to Rs. 550 per month if they are day scholars. This allowance is paid for 10 months every year, so hostellers can get Rs. 3800 to Rs. 12000 yearly and day scholars get Rs. 2300 to rs. 5500 yearly. Their full tuition and exam fees are also paid. Students with disabilities get extra allowances too.

OBC, VJNT and SBC students living in hostels get up to Rs. 425 per month, which means Rs. 4250 per year. Students studying in government or aided colleges get 100% of their fees paid back. Students in private unaided professional colleges get 50% of their fees reimbursed every year.
